When Tom was just a wee lad, he used to tell teachers and strangers alike that, when he grew up, he wanted to mix sound for TV commercials.
Okay, so maybe not. But lucky for us, that’s what he ended up doing.
Having become the go-to guy for top creatives, Tom’s mixed famed Pepsi spots that featured such names as Michael Jackson, Lionel Ritchie, Michael J. Fox, Ray Charles, KISS, Billy Crystal, Ozzie Ozbourne, The Village People, The Rolling Stones and Britney Spears… to name a few.
In addition to the cola genre, Tom’s dominated the Super Bowl. He’s mixed over 100 commercials that have aired during the big game, including 12 that aired during one game alone and eight that were voted #1 in the USA Today Ad Meter poll—an achievement unmatched by any other mixer to date.
We can also sing Tom’s praises in the form of awards listing: Projects that Tom’s mixed have scored Emmys, Grammys, ITS Monitor Awards, Addys, Clios, London International Awards, Andys, Tellys and Effies, as well as awards from the Tribeca Film Festival, Cannes, AICP, AdWeek, D&AD, Shoot, AdCritic, TV’s Funniest and The One Show.
Not to mention a partridge in a pear tree.
